Focused Intervention - Including Kids

Focused Intervention

The Focused Intervention program provides targeted therapy in order to make gains in a specific area or goal for children and adults.

Examples of target areas for children include but are not limited to toilet training, learner readiness, behavior management, communication training, reinforcement systems, and executive functioning skills.

Examples of target areas for adults include self-determination and advocacy, career path development and employment, peer relationships and socialization, health and safety, and continuing education and lifelong learning.

One on One Intervention

Clients are seen 1 to 8 hours per week based on the recommendation of the Including Kids staff. Including Kids will bill medical insurance if ABA therapy is covered on the insurance plan.

At InKids, we offer a one to one client to therapist ratio so that our clients may be taught using the individualized strategies that benefit them the most so that they can achieve their goals. Focused intervention is an evidence-based practice where our therapists can make alterations according to their client’s progress. Every curriculum, every teaching style, and every goal is unique to each client.

InKids takes place in a Texas Education Agency Approved nonpublic facility. Besides licensed therapists, we can offer access to Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Besides working to target and achieve their goals, we also encourage our members to engage in our free Saturday support workshops and our free community outreach initiatives, which can be found on our calendar, such as: Parents night out, babysitting courses (for people interested in caring for children on the autism spectrum), and autism-friendly social eventsContact InKids to schedule a Meet and Greet!
