Upon request, Including Kids conducts private assessments. The assessments are completed on a case-by-case basis. These assessments are beneficial to clients as they help identify problem areas and let you know what program or workshops would work best for your child. These questionnaires can also be used to track progress in academic, learning, functional skills, and behavioral skills as the life of our client progresses. Assessments available include but may not be limited to:
Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills—Revised (ABLLS-R)
This assessment allows therapists to identify deficiencies in language, academic, self-help, and motor skills before then implementing an individualized intervention. This assessment can also be taken periodically to track development. The assessment provides a comprehensive review of 544 skills from 25 skill areas including language, social interaction, academic, and motor skills.
Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS)
This assessment can be taken by children on the autism spectrum or children with developmental delays ages 2 and up. The assessment provides a systematic way to evaluate, track, and teach functional, adaptive, and self-help skills so that individuals with autism or developmental delays can become more independent.
Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP).
This assessment and placement program is a skills-tracking system for children on the autism spectrum or children with developmental delays. It assesses language, learning, and social skills with a strong focus on social interaction.
