Lunch and Learn - Including Kids

Lunch and Learn
for Clients and Their Families

At Including Kids, it is important to us that both you and your child are given all resources available to help you be successful. That is why many of our community services are complimentary and are focused on inclusion and behavior management strategies. Our goal at Including Kids is for both you and your child to feel confident in any environment.

Children and their families are invited to a monthly complimentary lunch at Lunch & Learn where sessions will be held on topics such as Token Systems, Activity Schedules, ARDs, Special Needs Trusts, and Inclusion. An RSVP is required to attend this event.

These Lunch & Learn gatherings are very informative for children and young adults on the autism spectrum as well as for their families. Attendees have the opportunity to engage with other families attending the events and integrate into the InKids family.

Token Systems – Token Economies provide positive reinforcement to children by giving them tokens for completing tasks, goals, or behaving in desired ways. This is a strategy used for strengthening a behavior and increasing its frequency. A child may exchange their tokens in an educational setting for a reward.

ARDS – The Autism and Related Disorders Services can help you arrange an appointment for an assessment to reach a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder.

Inclusion – Inclusion is the final goal of every InKids program, service, seminar, and activity. We want every child or young adult to achieve their fullest potential and feel confident interacting with others in their community. In this workshop we will further discuss this idea of inclusion and what it entails.

Including Kids, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color or ethnic or national origin in the administration of its policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, or any other programs which it administers.
