Including Kids periodically offers babysitting courses for individuals interested in caring for children on the autism spectrum. The training covers topics such as the basics of autism spectrum disorder, basic behavior strategies, and appropriate activities. For a parent of a child with special needs, it can be extremely difficult to feel at ease leaving your child home alone with a babysitter, but with the right qualifications you can assist these families, make children happy, and have many more job opportunities.
Our seminars and other social learning events are open to all who are interested in learning more about autism and how to appropriately interact with children on the spectrum. These events include our FREE Spotlight Series Workshop, our Autism Appreciation events, Community Trainings, and if you are interested in pursuing a career in behavior analysis or non-profit for special needs, you may also contact us for the opportunity to be included in our internship/mentorship programs.
