Caregivers of dependents with special needs are often forced to absorb more of the costs for medical care and related services for their dependent with special needs. And many are not aware of the potential tax benefits that may be available to them. This workshop will discuss potential tax deductions and credits that are commonly overlooked by caregivers with a dependent with special needs.
The role you play as caregiver to your loved one with autism is so important, but so is the role you play in caring for yourself. This presentation will focus on helping you understand the impact of stress and anxiety on those with ASD and on their caregivers. We will focus on helping you, as caregiver, better manage your day-to-day stress. You will learn how to identify and understand stressors and signs of stress, use new techniques to lessen stress levels, and develop an individualized action plan for managing your stress.
