About Including Kids
On April 21, 2003, Including Kids, Inc. opened its doors with the goal of serving children with autism and related disorders using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
We continue to expand services to meet the needs of the community. Currently we serve clients ages 2-30 through full-time & part-time programming, after school classes, parent training, autism friendly community events, adult seminars, babysitter training courses, workshops on various topics, young adult programming including vocational training, and more.
We have multiple paths to inclusion and all of our clients are included in the community to the extent that best fits their needs and abilities. We have partnerships with many inclusion programs where our children are included with typical peers. We also shape the skills of children who are ready to be included in typical classrooms.
Including Kids admits individuals of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available by the company. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial programs, and other organization-administered programs.
All of our programs are based on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and each client receives an Individualized Treatment Plan addressing their specific needs. There is one licensed behavior analyst overseeing 6-8 cases. Our program is Nationally Recognized as a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence in the state of Texas and accepts ages 2-30 of all functioning levels.
