Parent Sessions: (Check in at 9:45; 10 am-12 pm) This workshop series is intended for parents, family members, teachers, professional workers or anyone who comes into contact with people diagnosed on the autism spectrum or with other related developmental disorders.  The workshops will provide strategies based on applied behavior analysis and teach real-life application in the home, school and community settings. 

Children Sessions: (Check in for everyone is from 9:45-10:00)
Interaction Group (9:45 am-12 pm): This session will be designed for children (ages 5 and up) diagnosed on the autism spectrum as well as 5-6 year old siblings.  Its purpose will be to work on social skill deficit areas such as turn-taking, perspective talking and conversation skills.

“SibClub” (9:45 am-12 pm): This session will be set up for children ages 7-15 years old that have a sibling diagnosed on the autism spectrum.  Its purpose will be to create a safe place for siblings to share their experiences and receive guidance on how to handle situations involving their sibling in a positive manner.

Childcare (9:45 am-12 pm): Children ages 2-4 years old both on and off the autism spectrum.

ABA for Families: Creating a Reinforcing Home Life Applied Behavior Analysis is not only for children on the autism spectrum. Understanding how to reinforce and what motivates the people in your family will create a more supportive home environment. The daily stress of life doesn’t have to control your family! Learn how your family can work as a supportive and fun team. This workshop will also address common struggles faced by siblings and parents of children with autism and related special needs.
