FULL-TIME ABA EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

We have two full-time programs, one for younger students (approximately ages 3- 7) and one for older students (approximately ages 8 and up).

Both programs use the principles of ABA to educate students in their areas of delay, which may include but are not limited to:

  • language, social and executive functioning skills, behavior management,
  • academics/school readiness, self-help, and domestic skills.

We use errorless training as the basis for our teaching. We record data on a daily basis for every objective that is currently being targeted. Every child receives an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) which is the basis for their program. Quarterly progress reports are given detailing their strengths, weaknesses, mastered and current targets for each objective.

All children also participate in music and movement programs and sensory activities, including Jump Town (an indoor gross motor activity center including moonwalks and physical fitness activities).

The younger students also participate in our Buddy Time Program (see link for details). The older students’ program has a combination of one to one and group activities throughout the day.

The goal of both programs is to prepare the students for inclusion. As students are ready, we begin including them, with our support, into typical classroom settings, or other appropriate lesser restrictive settings, and increase inclusion time as appropriate.

We have a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Associate Behavior Analyst overseeing all the students’ programs, all under the supervision of the Executive Director.
